My photography business, which I call "Artistic Pursuits," has grown from a creative and artistic seed, long dormant, but always present.

Creatively, my early interests were focused on drawing and sketching. In retrospect, it's clear to me that imagery and composition, as well as texture and detail, were all integral components of my art. Even as I pursued a successful career in telecommunications, my interests grew to include pen and ink, calligraphy, and periodic meanderings into photography.

Many, many sights can catch one's eye, but too often we see without actually stopping to really look or look without actually seeing what is there. Now, as a professional photographer, I pursue my creative interests and indulge my artistic eye each day.

Photographically, my primary interests are in still life; my passion lies with the cityscape and all it offers--architecture, architectural detail, bridges, neighborhoods, urban textures, industry and industrial details--areas rife with texture, color, and contrast, full of opportunities and subject matter to capture and share with others.

I shoot with professional Canon cameras, presently using the 5DS and 5D Mk III with premium Canon L series lenses. As I believe that the real power of the image is in the print, I use Epson wide format printers - presently the 64 inch P20000, and a variety of archival quality papers such as Museo Silver Rag, Ilford Gold Fibre Silk, Hahnemuhle Museum Etching and Epson's Exhibition Fiber paper for outstanding results.

I use only archival quality cotton rag mat, acid free foam board, and other acid free materials to mount and mat images ready for framing. Each of my images is printed in my studio and signed only when I am satisfied with the results.

Print sizes up to 64 wide are done on my own equipment. With the Epson P20000 I can also provide larger prints including 60x60 square crop, large canvas prints (60 wide). If you are interested in a very contemporary look, please contact me about image prints on aluminum plate and canvas.
